![]() ![]() Upon trying to get the single MPEG2 file to Create Disc burn, it actually went past the 3% for the first time (yay!). I confess that I'm not educated enough from readings in this forum yesterday to know if that should have made much of a difference but for whatever reason, it did! This time, it worked! It rendered it all into a complete MPEG2 file, which I then opened as a new project to burn to DVD. So this time, I instead selected DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG, then from its options, NTSC MPEG2 (720X480, 29.97 fps), so that, from this novice's standpoint, I was actually asking it to create an MPEG2 file specifically. As I read the Suggested Workflow originally, I thought that I HAD tried the conversion as part of everything I was trying - because, I'd selected create video file, but it still would kick up an error screen and close down and various points in rendering the timeline.īut after reading more on this forum & then going back to VS11 to have another look at what I'd ACTUALLY been doing, I realized that the file I'd selected to create from the list in the pop up box was NTSC DVD ( 4:3, Dolby Digital 5.1), before.
